Momen Tomori: Now recording what is there to say. Spesof Beegstick: Now recording big boy want to roll over and die. DM: All right. DM: Everybody, roll for initiative. Tittlin: Well, we don’t get to talk to him first. Tittlin: You have killed my father prepared to die. DM: If you want to talk to him, you can you can shout stuff at him. DM: Yeah, go ahead. Tittlin: I’ve actually well, moment told us not to I want to defer my action. Momen Tomori: The line could be the Oh, now they’re grouped. Momen Tomori: I don’t know why that changed. DM: Because I rolled. DM: They’re not grouped until they got a roll. DM: You are one one point one. DM: There we go. DM: Tiddlin. DM: Take it away. DM: To what you’re aware of. Tittlin: Uh, actually, I’m like half hidden, right? Tittlin: I’m on the back of a statue. Tittlin: I’ve got like temp like kind of cover, right? Tittlin: Okay, I’m gonna draw my bow. Tittlin: And ready in action to shoot him after somebody else hits him with something. Spesof Beegstick: What is should have known this going into this one? Spesof Beegstick: What is the range on my musket eighty three twenty um where’s his actual hip box? Momen Tomori: Do we know if he has I’m assuming that there are no uh elemental weaknesses? Spesof Beegstick: Because his head is very different from his yeah, yeah. DM: If you mouse over his body, do you see an outline? Spesof Beegstick: So that’s that’s the range that I need to work with. DM: That’s his Yep. DM: That’s his hitbox. Spesof Beegstick: Okay. Spesof Beegstick: All right. Spesof Beegstick: Uh well, I’ve I have a gun, Matt. Tittlin: If you’re up against a boss like this, I highly doubt you’d be hitting in the wings of the head. Momen Tomori: Are timed to his attacks. Spesof Beegstick: You neglect this I got the get uh all right over here. Spesof Beegstick: Yes. Spesof Beegstick: And then use my action to take a shot at George with the mush kit is it night time? DM: Twenty six, that hits. DM: You are underground. DM: It is in the morning. Spesof Beegstick: So when it when the lunar musket says at night attacks with it, deal an extra one D eight radiant damage, is that based on time or available light? DM: Attacks. DM: Yeah, I was gonna say that would that would either have to be presence of the moon or time. DM: Neither of which count in this situation. Spesof Beegstick: All right, and then I’ll use my bonus action. Spesof Beegstick: Why is that charge is not correct? Spesof Beegstick: That should be it’s sick. Spesof Beegstick: Um then I’m gonna fire off I can get the why are my uses so goofy why do I have warnings on my character sheet? Spesof Beegstick: What’s going on? Spesof Beegstick: Edit All right, I’ll fix this in a second. Spesof Beegstick: Uh and fire off two meteors at George Oh were you doing Schneider? DM: Both of those hits. DM: Yes. DM: Is that your turn, Spezzov? DM: Okay. DM: Uses a layer action. Spesof Beegstick: Oh boy. DM: You start to feel your the hairs on the back of your head, back of your neck start standing up. DM: Yes, like static. DM: Where is spess of? DM: Ten baggins. DM: Opera. DM: Oh, this map is huge. DM: Where is space of? DM: There’s best of. Spesof Beegstick: Can’t hit me if you can’t find me. DM: Yeah, exactly. DM: And a bolt of you you feel the hair on the back of your neck start to stand up. DM: Uh, as the air crackles with electricity, and a bolt of lightning arcs between the fountain and the statue. DM: Special, give us a deck saving throw. DM: Yeah. Spesof Beegstick: Uh throw with advantage. DM: You manage to successfully dodge out of the way of the lightning. Spesof Beegstick: Try not to stay in line, I guess. DM: You see some of the guards show up to the north to the east to the west. DM: And you can see with them are Dergar Mind Masters as well as some of the stone guards. DM: Who immediately all change size? DM: To your left, you spot out of the corner of your eye, one of the tiny mind masters show up, and she waves her hands and you feel something attack your mind. DM: Give us an intelligence saving throw. Spesof Beegstick: Well guess I’ll just guess I’ll just yeah, attack something. DM: One of your allies. Spesof Beegstick: Uh guess I’ll just walk this way and hit the veteran. Spesof Beegstick: Uh can I just like or yeah, yeah, what is this like me being completely taken over for a moment? DM: Yep. DM: The spell name is literally mind mastery. Spesof Beegstick: Uh, can I just Spesof Beegstick: Oh, I’m holding a gun, so can I just like improvise melee attack with it? Spesof Beegstick: Because I wouldn’t shoot my point blank range, I guess. DM: One D twenty plus your strength modifier. Spesof Beegstick: Uh twenty three. DM: All right, that hits. DM: And what is your proficiency modifier? DM: Five. DM: Roll a one D four plus five. Spesof Beegstick: Oh, right. Spesof Beegstick: Damn it. Spesof Beegstick: That makes more sense. DM: You come over and smack the veteran with the butt of your rifle. DM: What are you doing? DM: And then he sees the look in your eyes. DM: Oh. DM: We’ve got Mind Masters at play, he says, shouting out to the rest of the team. DM: TM Opera O wastes absolutely no time. DM: He flaps his wings. Momen Tomori: And charges straight at you know, for being one size category difference different, the difference in effect of size is massive. DM: And flies over to George. DM: Straight to him. DM: Opera opens their mouth and spews out a multicolored glowing cone of bright light that bathes Gerge. DM: It looks like he was going to be hit, but then he moment you feel the weave change as Gerge deftly avoids the breath weapon. Momen Tomori: Can’t do that too often Dodge using the weave. DM: No, you cannot. DM: But when you’re face to face with another dragon avoiding their opening breath weapon is a valid strategy. DM: Comes into position and starts surveying the battleground before opening up with anything. DM: Alright. DM: This mage comes forward, takes a look, casts a firebolt at this Durgar Stone Guard, which hits for twenty-one damage. DM: Taking a huge chunk of his health out. Momen Tomori: Excellent. DM: Starts coming around this way. DM: Trying to avoid clumping together. DM: The soldiers are trying to remain at a distance. DM: They don’t want to clump up, given what we’ve seen. Momen Tomori: Yep. Momen Tomori: Watch those watch those rest rockets. DM: This guy comes back here, shoots a firebolt. DM: Attempts to shoot a firebolt. DM: Shoots a firebolt at the Durgar. DM: Hits for thirteen, taking him most of the way out. DM: Moman, your turn. Momen Tomori: I already know what I’m going to do, and I just need to verify the range. Momen Tomori: Okay. Momen Tomori: All right, so what I am good. Momen Tomori: This is a wide open courtyard where no one can really run, right? Momen Tomori: Run and hide, right? Momen Tomori: Then I cast something I have never cast before. Momen Tomori: That’s that’s not the template. Momen Tomori: Ignore ignore that. Momen Tomori: I cast illusory dragon and place it on the uh fountain. Momen Tomori: Can I get a huge huge uh minion token? DM: An illusory. DM: A huge minion token. DM: Uh okay. DM: Huge shadowy dragon. Momen Tomori: And uh wait, what what else quick question what element was uh was um Oprah’s Dragon Breath? DM: Radiant. Momen Tomori: Radiant. Momen Tomori: All right. Momen Tomori: So then you have a moment, I will have a question. Momen Tomori: And so now every uh creature, every enemy that can see it needs to make a wisdom saving throw. DM: Well. DM: This may be hard to believe. DM: But literally everyone everyone failed that check, except for George. DM: Does this apply to you? DM: Any of your enemies? Momen Tomori: DC eighteen wisdom saving throw. DM: Moment steps forward and puts the fear of God in literally everyone in this fight. DM: Sees his men cowering about and scoffs and clicks his tongue. DM: Howards. DM: Very well, I shall fight you alone. DM: All right, Moment, anything else you’re doing on your turn? Momen Tomori: Yes. Momen Tomori: Uh, does out of the damage types I can pick for this, which is uh acid cold fire lightning necrotic poison, is Moment aware of does Moment think any of them are more likely to are less likely to be resisted by church. DM: Sorry, out of which types. Momen Tomori: Acid cold fire, lightning necrotic or poison. Momen Tomori: And so out of the Do I think he’s like likely weakest to any of them? Momen Tomori: Then in that case, I am going to pick cold because that because then we will then we will have a nice four way balance. Momen Tomori: It’s between uh ignis with fire, the illusory dragon with cold. Momen Tomori: Opera with radiant and moment with necrotic and then as my bone Quick question for later terms I turns I can use a full action to to trigger a bonus action, right? DM: No. Momen Tomori: No. Momen Tomori: I can’t do two bonus action things on a turn earned by sacrificing my action. DM: You cannot. Momen Tomori: And we had said that it takes a bonus action to command Ignis, right? DM: Correct. Momen Tomori: Uh then that changes my calculus because it takes a bonus action to control the illusion illusory dragon. DM: You can only control one dragon at a time there, Mom, but you got too many dragons at play. Momen Tomori: So can I get can I give Ignis a comm a command to sick a boy and just leave him to it? DM: Yeah, you don’t have to be taking control of Ignis. Momen Tomori: You’re okay. Momen Tomori: Then I will does it will it take do I do I need to use a bonus action to give him that command to go on his own or okay? DM: It just means that I get to control him. DM: If you do not give him commands, he will attack nearby enemies, defend himself, defend allies. Momen Tomori: Sure. Momen Tomori: And in that case, I am going to let Ignis do what he will and use my bonus action to command my illusion to move. Momen Tomori: So I am going to have it. Momen Tomori: I cannot control it. Momen Tomori: I’m going to have a take to the sky so that it is all visible by everyone and they can and they can’t hand uh hide from it, so it can’t trigger it. Momen Tomori: And then I’m going to have it fly over here and use its breath weapon. Momen Tomori: Which will be cold. Momen Tomori: Let’s see. Momen Tomori: So it’s going that’s a sixty-foot cone, but the cone is irrelevant because Jerge is a friggin’ broad side of a barn. Momen Tomori: So he needs to make an intelligence saving throw. Momen Tomori: Or take eighteen uh cold damage. DM: Passes that easily. Momen Tomori: Alright. Momen Tomori: So he takes half damage. Momen Tomori: Jerge looks about at the very dragons assaulting him looks to you and smirks. DM: Looks to you and smirks. DM: Do you need any more dragons on your side? Momen Tomori: Do you need any more dragons on your side? DM: I’m sure I can call up a few. Momen Tomori: I’m sure I can call up a few. Momen Tomori: Better the yeah, it’s better things to do than uh trash box. Momen Tomori: So that is the end of Moman’s turn, and then Ignis is free to do what he will. DM: Ignis uh is not about to go fight several larger dragons. DM: So he comes over here and dashes at the tiny little mind master. Momen Tomori: So he comes up here. Momen Tomori: Uh seeing where he’s going, I am I am going to dismount. Tittlin: Yeah, Malcolm. DM: Wise plan. Momen Tomori: Yeah, my time. DM: Alright, this veteran sees that Ignis has found a rat, comes over, takes a swing with his long sword, misses the first one, hits the second one for ten damage. Momen Tomori: Alright, so you’re the seat that takes this guy’s palette around, comes up, takes us 20 tour, the first one we hits the second one for 10k. Momen Tomori: There is a gap between between uh the shadow dragon and uh and um uh freaking why can’t I keep my mind which it’s actually ten feet wide, but because of their wingspan it doesn’t look like there’s a gap to shoot through touching fits, don’t think too much about it fellas saying you can’t think about it, two dragons touching tips. DM: They’re just touching tips. DM: Don’t think too much about it. Tittlin: It’s up to you. DM: I’m not I’m not, you know, saying you can’t think about two dragons touching tips. DM: I’m just I’m not. Momen Tomori: I’m just kinda like I’m not seeing these comes over just like is it anything frightened? Tittlin: It’s kind of like three, though. DM: Alright, seeing that the enemies are frightened, he comes over to fight them. DM: Is it anything other than them being frightened? Momen Tomori: Uh if I let’s see the they are frightened unless they can break line of and they cannot make another save until they can break line of sight and let’s see. Momen Tomori: Normal thing of fragment where it can’t has disadvantage on ability, checks and attack rolls all the source of its fears within line of sight, which I’m deliberately having the dragon high so that it is always in line of sight, and creature can’t willingly move closer to the source of its fear. DM: Right. Momen Tomori: I am glad I spent that time reading through my spells. DM: This guy comes over here. DM: Sorry, why was that? Momen Tomori: Sorry, why was that what you think that’s too that is a point that is ten feet closer? DM: What you think that’s to you think that’s approaching? DM: No, I see. Momen Tomori: No, I see uh I I you you are the DM, so you can be the judge, but I I I am not going to I am not going to rules lawyer you but I I think I figured out that at least a once I should pull out the measuring tape here and train things right here that’s what I want to hear this guy can’t do anything for the end absolutely something jumped the sweet sweet smell of an action stress up mess all this guy is within range to make immediately attacking I’m sorry to draw and hits for 14 piercing damage I can’t get clean to the high past mind your masters I have to ask what does gabba ghoul mean if there’s something like a gobba ghoul I believe it’s a cap the column I now have another question what’s cap up like a tried to work I don’t know I don’t cap a cold to try to revolt it back to it. DM: Comes over here and throws his javelin at Ignis. DM: Dealing nine damage. DM: This guy throws his javelin at the uh knight, the veteran, but misses. DM: Can’t do anything, can’t do anything. DM: Can absolutely do something. DM: Can come down here. DM: Throws his javelin at Moment at Swessov, which misses. DM: Comes over here, throws a javelin at Spesov. DM: And hits for 14 piercing damage. Momen Tomori: I see I believe it. Tittlin: Unrelated. Tittlin: I also said Sabrasado. Momen Tomori: I hope that’s how this is this man charcooning it off you can start to charcoal to uh crack the writer out of the eventual one that none of them have to try to add someone in knowledge. Tittlin: That none of that about Charcoonary was actually in game knowledge. Momen Tomori: Don’t worry, I uh as the adventure log writer I’ll I can easily edit it out. DM: Alright, Jer comes over here, picks up TM Opera. DM: Oh, does a quick little spinneroo with him and throws him straight at Moman. Momen Tomori: And throw is a tray at moment. Momen Tomori: Can I dodge baby? DM: Moment gives a dexterity saving throw. DM: Alright, you take forty bludgeoning damage. Momen Tomori: Ouch. Momen Tomori: Oh DM: That is your illusory dragon. Momen Tomori: Could Oprah not have used his wings the to chicken trajectory? DM: Opera’s taking that damage too. DM: That was forty bludgeoning damage. DM: Opera coughs and says, My apologies, little one. Momen Tomori: Well isn’t it weird that opera and collision? Tittlin: Isn’t it weird that opera and moment take the same amount of damage from collision? Tittlin: Isn’t there like a frickin’ momentum and mass conversion that needs to be done? Momen Tomori: Isn’t there like a freaking moment that’s mask compared to that seems to be the point? Spesof Beegstick: You neglect the fact that moment is pointy. Momen Tomori: If anything, I would expect Moment to take more dead. Spesof Beegstick: That was that was Matt’s point, I think. DM: And after throwing Opera around. DM: George is going to fly over, baby. Spesof Beegstick: Oh no. DM: Flies right over to Spasov and looks down at him and grins. DM: That’s a very interesting weapon you have there. DM: Welp. DM: May I take a closer look. DM: It does. Momen Tomori: It does. Tittlin: Oh, wait, hold on, not both. Tittlin: I thought he got what every player turned. DM: No, that’s a legendary action. DM: Which is what he’s taking now. DM: No, he’s taking his uh legendary action first. Spesof Beegstick: Wait, did I do not like how many things you’re rolling? Spesof Beegstick: No, no, no. Spesof Beegstick: Stop that. Spesof Beegstick: You stop that now. DM: Looking at my options here. DM: George comes over and beats his wings several times, kicking up a massive dust storm. DM: Spesov, give me a deck saving throw. Spesof Beegstick: Sense should apply here. Spesof Beegstick: There we go. Spesof Beegstick: No, just to avoid getting sand in my eyes. DM: Dodging. DM: Spassov is successful in avoiding the wing attack, but the mages around him fall to the ground, are knocked down to the ground. DM: And then he does a lair action. DM: He does. Tittlin: Oh, never mind then. DM: He just doesn’t have any enemies within range that he can do anything on. DM: I mean, he could cast dimensional flurry if you want that, but that would be hitting most of you guys. DM: And he doesn’t have a lair action because this isn’t Opera’s lair. Momen Tomori: Special special ability, any enemies layers now your layer. Momen Tomori: Just stealing another character’s layer actions. DM: And from the ceiling. DM: A large uh lactite falls down. DM: Hitting these two folks. DM: But they manage to dodge. DM: And thus it only hits the uh fountain. DM: Spesov, your turn. Spesof Beegstick: Shoulders it and hold out the great sword. Spesof Beegstick: After this one, right. Spesof Beegstick: Can you throw the frenzy and rage effects on for me? DM: I don’t see the rage. DM: Did you roll it? Spesof Beegstick: Oh, I guess. Spesof Beegstick: Did we have one for frenzy post effects stuff? Spesof Beegstick: I guess it’s not that big of a deal. DM: That’s okay. DM: I can quickly make one. DM: That hits. DM: Uh actually does that. DM: That does not hit. DM: The first one does, the second one does not. Spesof Beegstick: And then I guess best off will circle around George to not be in line with the fountain and a statue of him. DM: Uh illusory dragon wisdom saving through. Momen Tomori: They were afraid to know the dragon, but the dragon is gone, so they don’t need to save. Momen Tomori: Friggin’ act throw throwing Oprah at me just really screwed things up. DM: I mean it wasn’t a it wasn’t a cheap move. DM: That was his whole turn. Momen Tomori: I know I know. Momen Tomori: I’m not complaining that it was was invalid. Momen Tomori: I’m complaining that it hurts. DM: Well, he’s not gonna pull his punches. DM: Master comes over here. Momen Tomori: How many people can say they had a dragon thrown at them? DM: Not many. Spesof Beegstick: You can now put this first hand account in a textbook. Tittlin: Gobble ghouls. Momen Tomori: Is it gonna happen? Tittlin: It’s one of my resurrection sicknesses. DM: Italian. Tittlin: Yeah. DM: Opera O is pissed. Momen Tomori: I can imagine the one that won’t hit friendlies. DM: Flies over. DM: And uses his breath weapon. DM: Let’s see, which one do I want? DM: The smaller one. DM: An even brighter ray of light spews out of Opera O’s mouth. DM: Attempting to blind Gerge. DM: But Gerge resists. DM: However, a little mind master caught in the caught in the spray. DM: Gets utterly obliterated, and you can see them scratching scratching for their eyes. DM: To which point Opera says, temporarily That’s uh dispatch. DM: What do you mean temporarily? DM: You’re blind forever. DM: Lieutenant Baggins and stands up. DM: Scoots over. DM: And throws down. DM: And Ice Storm on the northern set of guards. DM: Only one of whom actually takes the full damage. DM: The others take half. Momen Tomori: A storm warning, if you will. DM: Oh gosh. DM: This mage uh stands up, then sprints to get away from uh jerge. DM: This one likewise also stands up and sprints it out of the way. Momen Tomori: Good plan, good plan. DM: This one comes over and casts a fireball. DM: Mage. DM: This guy this guy is dead. DM: Moman. DM: As you’re standing there watching the fight unfold, you suddenly realize that this mage has fallen dead. DM: You did not see anything hit them. Momen Tomori: Yeah, I was just thinking that. DM: They were in the area of effect of the ceiling collapsing, but they dodged that. DM: And yet for some reason in the past six seconds, they fell over dead. DM: You did not see any spell attack hit them or anything else. Momen Tomori: I didn’t feel anything in the leave. DM: They just seemingly you felt nothing in the weave. Spesof Beegstick: That’s good. Momen Tomori: No, that is not good. Momen Tomori: Uh um, that scrambles my well, that was a freaking act. Momen Tomori: Uh that changes my thinking. Momen Tomori: Maybe so my plan was was deal was deal eight D eight to Gerge to try and knock him down quickly, considering that the longer this fight goes on, the more we’re gonna lose. Momen Tomori: But considering that we now have have people dropping dead mysteriously. Momen Tomori: Uh do I pivot to try and deal with that instead. Spesof Beegstick: Well, okay, what what do you think you would try to do to stop people from mysteriously dropping down? Momen Tomori: Like I have at this point, the theory is essentially something invisible killed him. Momen Tomori: That is my current theory. Momen Tomori: Actually, how did he drop dead? Momen Tomori: Like, do I see any visible injuries? Momen Tomori: Any spur spurts of blood or anything like that. Momen Tomori: Does it look like necrotic damage? Momen Tomori: I cla I c I cast literally explosive diarrhea. Momen Tomori: Your intestines are now shreds. Momen Tomori: I like the my the one thing I was thinking of doing was casting fairy fire right on that area to hit to if there was anything that had uh affected it to highlight it, but considering that it doesn’t look like something like that actually happened. Momen Tomori: I don’t think that’s gonna really help. Momen Tomori: I think what we need to do is kill is kill George ASAP. Momen Tomori: Actually, I pro I probably put so we still we still have Rarys up, right? Momen Tomori: Wait, is Ray’s concentration? Momen Tomori: No, it isn’t Jitlin, the the guy that just died. Momen Tomori: Did you see anything? Momen Tomori: Moman calls out over over the telepathic bond. Tittlin: I don’t know, did I? DM: What’s your passive perception? DM: You did not. Momen Tomori: Because you need to use an action to actually investigate her. Tittlin: Well, I don’t I feel like it I did not see the death, or did I not know what happened in the death? Momen Tomori: All right, just then quick bursts over call overcomes. Momen Tomori: What watch out? Momen Tomori: We have an we have an unknown own combatant. Momen Tomori: We have an unknown combatant. Momen Tomori: Everyone keep your eyes. Momen Tomori: Peeled. Momen Tomori: And then moment is going to run twenty five feet. Momen Tomori: Which is not going to put me close enough. Momen Tomori: So then I’m going to as a bonus action use Misty Step. Momen Tomori: Wait. Momen Tomori: Oh shoot, one second. Momen Tomori: I need to change my move away from why can I change my move? Momen Tomori: Oh, because I’m in bloody measure. Momen Tomori: Select movement action default walk. Momen Tomori: Okay, no, that was right. Momen Tomori: Twenty-five feet of walking. Momen Tomori: Change movement mode to teleport teleport additional thirty feet. Momen Tomori: Thirty feet closer. Momen Tomori: Trying to judge my angles right. Momen Tomori: And so then I that should put me within Excellent. Momen Tomori: And so now I can a bowl. Momen Tomori: Actually, can I have to cast that? Momen Tomori: Do I want to upcast that? Momen Tomori: What is this? Momen Tomori: I’ll cast the eight for each slot and I’m casting it to six, so that would make it ten D eight, so after eighty damage next or sixteen, that’s I don’t have very I only have two high levels well, so I don’t think I’m doing that now. Momen Tomori: Save that for for the end if I need it. Momen Tomori: Blight Yes. DM: George resists your blight. Momen Tomori: Okay, so he takes half damage. Momen Tomori: And I end my turn and let Ignis do his thing. DM: Ignis casts his lava breath. Momen Tomori: Does the lava breath leave anything behind in the area that burns? DM: Mm chunky. DM: What do you mean? Momen Tomori: Like given that it’s lava, is there an is there now molten stone on the ground or anything like that, or is it just a minimal amount of magma? DM: Yeah, I’d say a minimal amount. DM: All right, and that finishes off the eastern set of enemies. DM: Good job, Ignis, everyone clap for him. Momen Tomori: Is that your catchphrase or Titans now? Tittlin: Uh we’ll just go with it’s the weird tidal in resurrection sickness catchphrase that he has for the day. Momen Tomori: All the resurrections are approved by the Pope. DM: As the fight goes on. DM: This veteran speaks up and shouts something just passed by me. DM: Something rebellion. DM: This veteran. DM: He’s looking at the ground as though searching for a snake. Spesof Beegstick: Oh, I wish I had the second robot. Momen Tomori: Are you willing to get up there? Momen Tomori: I think Ingus has blown sight. DM: Do you want opera to turn away from speaks up? DM: There is some small reptile behind me, but it’s small. DM: No matter. Tittlin: Now that TM Opera was pointed out, can I see it now? Tittlin: That’s basically the best role I can do. Tittlin: So uh luck, I think, until it reveals itself. Momen Tomori: Um possible for hypothetically, how it wouldn’t it shouldn’t be possible for a purple dragon to do the bug at all the time because it needed the elder, right? Momen Tomori: Do you I thought you could be requires two minutes? Momen Tomori: No other requirements. Momen Tomori: Ah, okay, cool. DM: And then kicks something. Momen Tomori: I just can’t bring up the right as it says. Momen Tomori: Well that’s the perfect time. Momen Tomori: I would have gone straight for the biggest threat. Momen Tomori: Comes up here. Momen Tomori: Canon. Momen Tomori: Yeah. Momen Tomori: Yes, it is. DM: They got bad aim today. DM: Charges forward, throws his javelin at that guy. DM: Also misses. Momen Tomori: Also misses taking damage. DM: Comes over here. DM: Stabs this knight. Momen Tomori: Hello. DM: Misses this guy sprints over here. Momen Tomori: Hello from the other side. Momen Tomori: Oh and that how comes the fountain out of the problem of the central fountain steps and you want to put our stuff. DM: And then out of the fountain, out of the rubble of the center fountain, steps a large Durgar Stone Guard. Spesof Beegstick: Huh. DM: Who comes forward and begins attacking the veteran. Momen Tomori: The skies? Momen Tomori: I wonder. Spesof Beegstick: Oh, this was the was this the fountain that the dragon was kicked into, or the invisible thing was kicked into a different one. Momen Tomori: Oh, this is the song or the invisible thing taken to it. DM: Threw down a large chunk of the ceiling into the fountain, missing the two veterans there, but damaging the fountain. Spesof Beegstick: Yeah, yeah. DM: And these guys are coming out of the hole that he made in the fountain. Momen Tomori: And these guys are coming out to the whole fountain. Spesof Beegstick: I see. Momen Tomori: Awesome. DM: And there’s a second one who comes forward and takes a swing at Lieutenant Baggins. Momen Tomori: There’s a second one. Momen Tomori: It comes forward and takes a swing out. Momen Tomori: Why were there reinforcements of the fountain? Momen Tomori: Primitive drawball. DM: One more. DM: Comes forward. DM: Throws a javelin at the Durgar Stone Guard by Gerge. DM: Hitting four. DM: Eleven damage. Momen Tomori: Oh I understand fully. DM: Now you’re a little bit confused at this point. Momen Tomori: I got purple lines. Momen Tomori: I’m saying this over the telepathy. Momen Tomori: They’re controlled by the purple dragon. Momen Tomori: Get get don’t get between them and ducks. DM: This guy comes out of the fountain. DM: Takes a swing at the veteran with his knife. DM: But misses. Momen Tomori: But this is at this point, it’s only annoying. DM: He flies up twenty feet into the air. Momen Tomori: He flies out twenty feet into the air. DM: And then let’s you have it. Momen Tomori: And then you have a boy. Spesof Beegstick: Do I get an opportunity off of that? Momen Tomori: Do I get an opportunity after that? Momen Tomori: Has it left your reach? DM: How far is your reach? Momen Tomori: Not twenty feet. Spesof Beegstick: Yeah, but like I this is only five feet for this weapon. Momen Tomori: Yeah, but yeah. DM: He stays within your reach. Momen Tomori: What’s up with the other time? DM: Oh, you’re only okay. DM: You’re using melee weapon. DM: Let’s see. Momen Tomori: I’m not gonna hit that. Spesof Beegstick: Just let him fly out. Momen Tomori: Come on, it’s just a scratch. Momen Tomori: We’re not gonna hurt yet. Momen Tomori: Much enemies are here. Momen Tomori: Denounces them as traitors and heretics. DM: Spits out a massive roar. DM: Everyone give me a constitution saving throw. Momen Tomori: Everyone can’t make that question. Momen Tomori: Everyone is area. DM: Everyone within that area. Tittlin: Can I do it for fun? Momen Tomori: That’s just specs off. Spesof Beegstick: Oh, that’s not good. Spesof Beegstick: Well, wait, do I have to get a little bit more than that? DM: Everyone failed it. DM: Nice. Tittlin: What is going on? DM: You feel your eardrums burst as you are completely deafened and incapacitated by his roar. Momen Tomori: As you’re completely definitely incapacitated by this one. DM: And now with no one of capacity anywhere near him, he beats his wings and flies eighty feet into the air. Momen Tomori: And now capacity anywhere near him. Momen Tomori: He beats his wings at full eighty feet of the air. Tittlin: Oh no. Momen Tomori: Uh-oh. DM: And over there. Momen Tomori: Yeah, okay. DM: Before surveying the battleground. DM: At the end of your turn, you will get another saving throw chance. Momen Tomori: At the end of the turn and for a transfer. DM: Ending the effect. Momen Tomori: And the fact How many hit points do we think he has left? Spesof Beegstick: So that’s something. Momen Tomori: I think I’m gonna have that find side of the buttons. Tittlin: But I will ready an action for when he is busy with something else and no longer looking at me. Momen Tomori: I think that describes them right now. Tittlin: If I shoot an air on him while he’s surveying the area, and I’m the only person that’s I might be from my mistakes with the verbal dragon. Momen Tomori: I couldn’t say that one of these survey of the area. Momen Tomori: And I mean oh that’s what I’m learning from no one else is doing anything. Tittlin: Anyways, I’m sticking with my ready to action decision, and I will do so. Momen Tomori: And then I think what I would be active assistant, and then I will say, I don’t have to be on the ground for anybody so I’m kinda like climbing a side, I guess. Momen Tomori: I can’t be happy. Momen Tomori: Oh yeah. Momen Tomori: Yeah, there we go. Momen Tomori: Just fess off. DM: Everyone else. DM: You watch as their eardrums start to bleed. DM: Special, your turn. DM: Ah, you can’t do anything. DM: It’s the end of your turn. DM: Give us a constitution saving throw. Momen Tomori: Wait, sorry, is it not? Momen Tomori: This is what was the success for what’s the success for this thing opening out of your skull. DM: Uh for resisting bleeding out of your skull. Spesof Beegstick: Oh, okay. Spesof Beegstick: Okay, cool. Momen Tomori: Okay, okay. DM: You remain incapacitated. Momen Tomori: That’s fine. Spesof Beegstick: Uh can’t take. Spesof Beegstick: Oh. Spesof Beegstick: Wait, I can I can still move, right? Momen Tomori: I guess that’s all right. DM: Uh I know. Spesof Beegstick: Wait, can I use bonus actions? Momen Tomori: Oh, it doesn’t have a chance. Momen Tomori: If you can’t take an action, you can’t take a bonus action. DM: I actually. Spesof Beegstick: Well, I’ll uh over the telepathic bonds, uh I’m just looking at the I’m just looking at the click graph. Momen Tomori: Oh, it’s how you follow up the incapacitated. Momen Tomori: You can’t take actions or reactions. DM: You can you can move. DM: You can move. DM: You can move, but you cannot act. DM: You cannot do any item interactions, reactions, bonus actions, actions. DM: But you can move. Momen Tomori: But you can move. Momen Tomori: Gotta move that gear up. DM: You also cannot hear. Momen Tomori: You also can gear. DM: But you still have telepathy. Spesof Beegstick: I will speak over the bond. Momen Tomori: I think uh I can’t hear my head is uh bringing seven size. Spesof Beegstick: Uh and uh say, uh I can’t hear shit. Spesof Beegstick: My head is uh ringing. Spesof Beegstick: Uh you said that might be on our side. Spesof Beegstick: What are you talking about? Momen Tomori: The pur the dagger coming out of the fountain are likely under the control of the purple dragon. Momen Tomori: Do not avoid getting avoiding gauge it with them and let the and let them attack um focus on George if we can bring him down. Momen Tomori: It’s uh it’s not allies but enemies of enemies mind masters over here stumbles away. DM: Mind master comes over here and pokes the veteran but misses. DM: This guy is blind, then stumbles around. DM: Ah. Momen Tomori: Is he is he wait, was he also deafened? DM: No, he’s blind. Momen Tomori: No, no, but it could if he was also mute he would be a he would be death, dumb, and blind. Momen Tomori: He might be a pinball lizard. DM: You finally see what took down this mage. DM: You see a small Duragar Mind Master run towards this mage down here. Momen Tomori: You see a small turret faster running towards this mage down here. DM: It attacks him, but misses. Momen Tomori: Revenge of the mice. DM: This Mind Master comes over here and attempts to cast Mind Mastery on Moman. DM: Moment, give us an intelligence saving throw. Momen Tomori: Where’s this little guy? Momen Tomori: He’s not in my line of sight, is he? DM: Oh no, he’s just out of your line, I’m site. Momen Tomori: Okay, just and before treating Wait wasn’t that a superman villain. DM: TM Opera O glows brightly and sloughs off the deafening breath before triggering their own radiance. DM: Let’s see here. DM: Mage, Mage. DM: Lieutenant Baggins. DM: And you begin shining. DM: You watch as the golden blood pours out of Oprah’s ears, he splashes it around, shaking his head and dousing you all in his golden blood. DM: You feel your bloodlust surging, and your eyes start to glow. DM: It’s time to fight, boys. Momen Tomori: Oh boy. Spesof Beegstick: Like, yes, for holding gold. Spesof Beegstick: What do we actually feel from this? DM: You have a one D eight bonus radiant damage to all weapon attacks. DM: And you emit light. Momen Tomori: We’re starting to get clumped up here. Momen Tomori: And we are unfortunately pinned between between the uh between an enemy line and the uh lightning statue. Momen Tomori: Nice down shot. Spesof Beegstick: Like I could still fly, because now it’s just movement. Spesof Beegstick: I just can’t do anything. Momen Tomori: That actually helps a lot. Momen Tomori: Uh what’s the flying speed that I gained? Momen Tomori: Thirty feet. Momen Tomori: Sixty feet, okay. Momen Tomori: Uh George is still really far away. Momen Tomori: Like even if I get to his level, I’m still seventy-five feet away. Momen Tomori: Oh Dragon powers. Tittlin: I didn’t peek around. Momen Tomori: I will fly sixty feet up in the air just to get closer to George. Momen Tomori: And then I’m pretty sure I’m within a hundred hundred and twenty feet of him now. Momen Tomori: So I am going to uh cast Eldritch Blast using my hat. Momen Tomori: Which which gives me based on my level three beam three beam attacks. Momen Tomori: So I need to make three range spell attacks. Momen Tomori: So that’s my spell attack modifier is plus twelve, I believe. Momen Tomori: If I click this what happens. Momen Tomori: Is that hit? Momen Tomori: Two three, none of those hit. Momen Tomori: Friggin’ heck. Momen Tomori: Seven. Momen Tomori: Oh, my highest roll was a seven there? Momen Tomori: Bloody heck. Momen Tomori: All right, so those all miss. Momen Tomori: So uh right, three big three beams of crackling in and energy streak towards George and miss. Momen Tomori: Then as a bonus action, uh as Ignis’ uh breath weapon recharged. Momen Tomori: Where’s Ignus over there? Momen Tomori: Those guys are all dead. Momen Tomori: I am going to have Ignis uh do a flaw do I full fly over here so that he can uh so that he can catch that um that uh veteran and get him out of there giving him a ride and uh his movement speed was let’s see, his flight speed is thirty or sixty. Momen Tomori: What’s his fly speed? Momen Tomori: Sixty. Momen Tomori: So he still has his action. Momen Tomori: So then I am going to have him eat eat the mind master. Momen Tomori: So I need to make a bite attack. DM: Crunch. Spesof Beegstick: Wow. Momen Tomori: Dude on the wing. Spesof Beegstick: Jesus. DM: That’s brutal. Momen Tomori: And that is my turn. Momen Tomori: We’ll see. Momen Tomori: We’ll see if those beam attacks this draft and jerge. DM: Ignis. DM: Eh. DM: Jerge. DM: Does his next legendary action? DM: He beats his wings. DM: Luckily, no one is within uh within distance. Tittlin: Damn, dude. DM: But he uses his wings to then fly. Momen Tomori: He’s already beating me. Tittlin: No, no, no, no, it’s okay. Momen Tomori: Flying with his wings. Tittlin: It’s okay, you don’t have to do that. Momen Tomori: Impossible. Tittlin: It’s fine. Tittlin: Actually, I say for it, so I don’t think we can do this right now. Momen Tomori: What about me? DM: You feel the weave start to shimmer behind you. DM: And then something hits you in the head. Momen Tomori: Not this again. Momen Tomori: Do I get it any advantage from this being the second time? DM: You do not. DM: However, luckily, this time you manage to resist it. DM: And you only take fourteen psychic damage. DM: You can see in front of you. DM: Ursus is here. DM: And he is wearing your cloak. DM: He’s wearing your cloak of Elven kind and seems to have all of the equipment that you had that Spesov did not manage to pick up. Momen Tomori: He just stabbed me in the brain. DM: Because he targeted. DM: Yeah, he targeted Moman first. Momen Tomori: It’s a three-way free for all nice. DM: Uh, what’s my range of my cannons? DM: Eighty feet. DM: Oh, perfect. DM: Comes over here, takes aim at George, and fires with the cannon, but misses. DM: That’s very unfortunate. DM: This guy stumbles away. DM: And then attempts to break free of the stupefication. DM: And succeeds. DM: Wow. DM: You can hear him. DM: Mop mop mop. DM: Oh, I can hear. Momen Tomori: Mopping up there you go. DM: This guy. DM: Likewise. DM: This stumbles upon Ursus confused and is like, ah. DM: And attempts to break free and is also successful. DM: Man, these guys are rolling good. DM: Uh simply lets Ignis fly him away and shoots at the Duragar stone guard with his cannon as he’s being carried off by Ignis, but misses. DM: Both of which the first one misses, the second one hits. DM: This guy is near death. DM: He takes aim at throws a javelin. DM: Hits for nine damage. DM: That apply. DM: Throws a javelin. DM: Hello. Momen Tomori: Throws a javelin. Momen Tomori: Throws our javelin. DM: Yeah, for some reason it’s not working there. DM: Throws a javelin, but misses. Momen Tomori: Have you tried the manual override on your javelin? DM: I’ll get right to that. DM: Likewise comes forward. DM: Hits for seven damage. DM: Ignis is now bloodied. DM: And this guy uses his opportunity to step forward and take a swing at this guy while he’s incapacitated. DM: Hitting for eleven damage. DM: This guy takes a swing at this veteran with his knife. DM: Missing. DM: This guy comes over here, charges at this mage, swings his knife, but misses. DM: This guy is incapacitated. DM: Walks over to the mage. DM: Attempts to get out of George’s deafening, but fails. DM: Still can’t do anything, attempts to resist George’s deafening. DM: Attempts to break from the deafening and fails. DM: This guy shoots at Ignis with his javelin and hits for ten damage. DM: You are surrounded, Ignis the tyrant recharges his breath weapon. Momen Tomori: Is there a stalactide above him? Momen Tomori: Yeah, we need to get him out of the air. Momen Tomori: Oh rules as written, it it uh I can only move loose earth. Spesof Beegstick: Like Earth. Momen Tomori: I can cause shapes or colors or both to appear on dirt or stone. Momen Tomori: And if the and if a and I can turn them into difficult terrain, but uh or vice versa, but I can’t but raw, I cannot uh use it to uh move. Momen Tomori: Move stone, because stone is not earth, it’s dirt, but dirt is apparently. Spesof Beegstick: Oh, I’m not going to be able to do it. DM: Urge roars releasing Thunderblot Thunder Breath. DM: You can feel the thunder wash over you. DM: Everyone inside that area make a constitution saving throw. Momen Tomori: Am I fine because I’m up in the air? Momen Tomori: Wait, how is it? DM: You are not. Momen Tomori: Constitution Saving Throw. Momen Tomori: What’s a DC? DM: DC’s nineteen. Momen Tomori: Oh Louake. DM: So let’s see here. DM: Urseys somehow managed to escape unscathed. DM: Mulman got out, scot free. DM: Oh, and Opera. Tittlin: Uh what map are we on? Tittlin: I am now in Lakeia. DM: We’re in Georgetown Palace. Tittlin: Which is in Oh, thank you. DM: Here, I just pulled you back. Tittlin: I w I tried to click on my uh I always plot my character sheet up in the top left and I accidentally clicked on a map, would Moman have even been in that breath realistically if he was sixty feet in the air. DM: Moments Besa. DM: You watch as everyone but you two, Ursus, and Opera falls to the ground, their head exploded. DM: Nope. DM: You managed to resist it. DM: It felt like your head was exploding. DM: But you lived. DM: So you are not doing well. Momen Tomori: I don’t want to bring this up. Momen Tomori: But the mage that was keep that flew that is flying me just died. DM: Good. DM: It’s a sixty foot cone. Momen Tomori: This distance cone. DM: Jerge’s in the air. Momen Tomori: The color’s only fifteen feet of oh, whatever. Tittlin: Fair enough. DM: We we don’t have proper 3D modeling. DM: You’re within the template. DM: Either way. DM: Moment did Mom himself didn’t take any damage anyway from it. DM: It was the guy on the ground. Tittlin: So far TMOP Rose not very uh George is badly injured. DM: So Moman falls to the ground. Tittlin: I can’t even tell what Ursus is. DM: So that’s sixty-six for Moman. Momen Tomori: Okay, how much damage is that? DM: Give it a roll. Momen Tomori: Why am I rolling for damage against myself? Momen Tomori: This is perverse. DM: Would you pre would you prefer I roll it for you? Momen Tomori: Do you normally make a man hand shoot himself? DM: You take eighteen damage. DM: You stub your toe. Momen Tomori: Do I get do I get a roll to stick the landing, or I don’t think I stick the landing act? DM: Sure, give me a deck saving throw. DM: Yeah, you’re on the ground. Momen Tomori: We need to drop this guy yesterday. Momen Tomori: Does it has he used his breath weapon every round? Momen Tomori: For the it’s feeling like it. Momen Tomori: To be fair, Opera has an AoE about as big as a breath weapon. DM: And as if on Q, Opera uses one of their legendary actions. DM: Within fifteen feet. Momen Tomori: We need to we need to bring him down. Momen Tomori: Can you clip his wings? DM: Opera shoots forth. DM: A large radiant blast. DM: The enemies within the area. DM: Make dexterity saving throws. DM: And then take damage. DM: That guy disintegrates into a puff of smoke, just ash on the ground. DM: Everyone who is currently radiant like Opera regains nine HP if you are within that area of effect. DM: Including your fallen ally enemies or allies. Momen Tomori: He died before the blessing happened. DM: Oh, looks around the battlefield and says, things aren’t shaping up too well, boys. DM: All right, Tidlin, your turn. Tittlin: Well the uh the the dirt pass. DM: No, he dodged it. Tittlin: Okay, but he was targeted by it, right? Tittlin: Okay, okay. Tittlin: Question How far are we are we from the building that we came from in the south? DM: Probably twenty feet or so from the edge of the map. Tittlin: Okay, so I couldn’t in theory go to that building, right? Momen Tomori: Are you able to attack from over there? Tittlin: Yeah, I’ve got six hundred feet of range. Momen Tomori: As long as you don’t stop shooting. Tittlin: Yeah, it’s a good point, actually. Tittlin: So I can actually wait, what’s going on here? Momen Tomori: Move off the map. DM: Can’t leave the map. DM: That’s what’s going on. Momen Tomori: You are imprisoned. Momen Tomori: Yes, I believe. Tittlin: Oh, it’s an effect. Tittlin: Resurrection sickness. Tittlin: Doesn’t tell me anything. Tittlin: Okay, Google resurrection sickness. Momen Tomori: Resurrection thickness. Momen Tomori: Coming back bootyful. Tittlin: Oh, wait, hold on. Tittlin: That wait, what had it what happened? DM: You’re encumbered. Tittlin: I know. Tittlin: I’m trying to figure out why I’m in Gumber. Tittlin: What happened? Tittlin: Why am I all of a sudden encumbered? Tittlin: I wasn’t before we started this. Momen Tomori: The weight of your sins. DM: Have you picked anything up? Tittlin: Uh oh, the iron pot is here, but I’m not actually carrying it anymore. Tittlin: That’s why. Momen Tomori: Oh, the irony. Tittlin: Uh, ‘cause I I I’ll just delete it because I put it over the cannon. DM: Oh, yes. Tittlin: All right, there we go. Tittlin: Movement speed, not a problem anymore. Tittlin: Um Tittlin: I can make it to like here. Tittlin: Would you say I’d be able to get into the building by that point? Tittlin: Oh, I would be able to get into the building if I moved properly. DM: Look at that. Momen Tomori: Is Tidlin looking for something with more punch? Tittlin: You doubled down on a square. Tittlin: Either way. DM: Oh, my bad. Tittlin: I was wondering why. Tittlin: I was like, I swear I could have made it, and then I realized that here you went down twice. Tittlin: Anyways. Tittlin: I go over to the building. Tittlin: Um I can’t select my character. Momen Tomori: Knock on the door and ask for some sugar. Tittlin: Uh and I take a shot at jerk. Tittlin: I guess we’re still playing jerge, right? Momen Tomori: That is the objective. Tittlin: Uh what what what is this by the way? Tittlin: Is this a a door? Tittlin: A gate? DM: Yeah, it’s the gate. Tittlin: What am I looking at? Tittlin: Is it perforated? Tittlin: Like, what’s the gate type? DM: Uh well, it’s reinforced with magic. DM: It’s a port cullus, so you can see through it, and it’s reinforced with magic, so you can’t shoot through it. Tittlin: Is it open? DM: No, it’s closed. Tittlin: Why would it why would it be closed? Tittlin: Didn’t we come through there? DM: And you guys are controlling the gatehouse, but presumably you closed it after you got in. Tittlin: Didn’t we? Tittlin: But I I thought the whole point. DM: I mean, the guy inside can open it. Tittlin: Yeah, okay. Tittlin: I’ll tell him to open it. Tittlin: Um when I was walking to the building, did I notice any like openings or windows from the inside? DM: No, there’s there’s nothing on this side of the building that would uh provide firing slits. Tittlin: Uh can I tell somebody here? Tittlin: Can I tell somebody here to be ready to close the gate if I tell him to? DM: Sure. Tittlin: So if I see George even look at me, I can tell him to close the gate. DM: If that’s what you want, sure. Momen Tomori: Can we slam the gate shut on his neck? Tittlin: Alright, cool. Tittlin: I I I will communicate that to him, and I will I’m waiting for his response to confirm he understands me. DM: Understood, sir, he says, giving you a thumbs up. Tittlin: Alright, you’ll know the signal when I tell you. Momen Tomori: Can we slam? Tittlin: Anyways, I oh control to error riddling to oh hold on. Momen Tomori: Controlled air. Tittlin: I did not configure myself back to title in. Momen Tomori: Whoops. Tittlin: Okay. Tittlin: There we go. Momen Tomori: He made a tittle mistake. Tittlin: I have to click so many times for that. Tittlin: Uh it’s for that’s for jerge. DM: Yeah, I figured so. Tittlin: How long does it take to open and close the gates? DM: Uh, it’s pretty quick. Tittlin: Is it difficult? Tittlin: Like, would it be annoying if I told him to close it and then open it for my next shot? Momen Tomori: It’s a lever. Tittlin: Okay, I won’t do that. Tittlin: I’ll stick to my original plan. Momen Tomori: At some point, Georgia wise up and ready in action. Tittlin: Well, writing an action, that’s what my guy has also done. Tittlin: He’s read it in action. Tittlin: So George even looks at me, the gate’s closed. Momen Tomori: No, but my point being you open it to attack him, and George is gonna blast ya. DM: Speaking of Jerge looking at you, after you shoot him in the back, a jerk turns to look at you. Tittlin: Okay, close the gate. Tittlin: Close the gate. DM: You tell them to close the gate, and they do so. DM: Uh then causes a ceiling collapse. Spesof Beegstick: Oh, yeah. Tittlin: Did it actually collapse? DM: Give us a dexterity saving throw. Tittlin: Uh, easy. Tittlin: In my non-Italian form, it would be pretty easy at least. Tittlin: Uh wait, that’s that’s not correct. Momen Tomori: The Italian D both. Spesof Beegstick: The Italian D Bob. DM: Uh you take nineteen bludgeoning damage and are buried under the rubble. Tittlin: Have that. Tittlin: Right? Tittlin: Don’t I have it because of uncanny dodge or whatever it’s called? Momen Tomori: Can you explain? DM: Uh read me uncanny dodge. Tittlin: Ugh, I have to go find it now. Tittlin: I don’t know where it is. Momen Tomori: You don’t have it on your character. Tittlin: Features. Tittlin: My character sheet is very large. Tittlin: I’ve been collecting features like it’s a freaking Pokemon game. Tittlin: Is it evasion at seventh level uh agility lets you dodge out of your way of certain area of effects, such as a blue dragon’s lightning breath fireball spell. Tittlin: Whenever you’re subjected to an effect that allows you to make a dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, you only take half the damage if you fail. DM: This effect does not allow you to take half damage if you succeed. DM: It’s just it’s all or nothing. Momen Tomori: It’s all or nothing. Tittlin: Alright, well, cool. DM: So the ceiling. Tittlin: Was it 19 damage? DM: The ceiling comes down on the gate house. DM: Uh crushing the gate, this side, this side gate, and burning it in rocks from the ceiling. Tittlin: Wait, question. Tittlin: Wouldn’t a magical gate be able to like hold that up? Tittlin: It’s magical, right? Tittlin: Why not? Tittlin: It’s magical. Momen Tomori: It’s not that kind of magic, apparently. DM: Then this is Dragon magic. Tittlin: Uh custom rule set. DM: It’s George’s gate as he knows he he built it. DM: He knows how the gate works. Tittlin: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Tittlin: I I understand. Tittlin: That’s fair. DM: Crushing that gate and uh Tiddlin in it. DM: Tiddlin is buried in several rocks. DM: He takes some damage and is knocked prone. Tittlin: That’s the prone. Spesof Beegstick: I need to get in the I don’t worry about it. DM: And you are sorry, what was that? Tittlin: Oh, never mind. DM: You are also restrained and cannot breathe. Tittlin: I have the cap of water breathing. Tittlin: Wait, do I? Tittlin: I might not have the cap of water. DM: You don’t have the capital out of the reading. Tittlin: I don’t I don’t have it. Momen Tomori: Why can’t you breathe? DM: Because he’s buried under the rocks. Tittlin: If I hold my if I breathe very low and slow, I should be there. Tittlin: Should be some oxygen, right? Momen Tomori: Are they just imagining someone with a cap of water breathing? Spesof Beegstick: And you stick to breathing anyway. Momen Tomori: Just drowns themselves. Momen Tomori: Just breathes in the water into their lungs. Momen Tomori: Deliberately drowning themselves. Tittlin: Um I would you would you let me would you let me use my reaction to perform an item interaction? Tittlin: Um just as a feeling, does it feel like I’m not gonna be able to like muscle my way out of this debris? Tittlin: Like what what’s my first it’s probably less than you can write down on paper? DM: What’s your strength score? DM: It’s a DC che it’s a DC ten strength check to get out of the rubble. Tittlin: I have a negative five, so is it a check? Tittlin: It’s not a saving throw, right? Tittlin: It’s a check. DM: No, it’s a check. Tittlin: Okay, so it’s it’s a negative one, but still my odds aren’t very good. Tittlin: Either way, I wanted to use my reaction to put my head into my own bag of holding. Tittlin: It provides like ten minutes of oxygen, so I assume that Chris was gonna punish me at the beginning of my turn, not not at the end of my turn. DM: So you can hold your breath for a maximum of one minute plus your constitution modifier, but your constitution modifier is negative one, isn’t it? Tittlin: Oh that’s a few seconds, right? Tittlin: I’ve got some time. DM: So yeah, you got a you got a minimum of thirty seconds. DM: You got thirty seconds of air on you. Tittlin: Why the how does that make sense? DM: But notably. Tittlin: How does like constitution mean how much oxygen you have to breathe? DM: Either way, you are restrained, but you’re not incapacitated. DM: So if you want to use your bag of holding for air, you absolutely can do that next turn. Tittlin: I will do it when I feel like I need it. DM: It’s thirty seconds, so that’s that’s five rounds. Tittlin: That’s pretty good actually. Tittlin: I I think that was a pretty smart move though. Tittlin: I bet you weren’t thinking about me doing that. DM: Yeah, no, that was a good that’s a good idea. DM: Uh no, you can’t do anything. DM: You’re still restrained. DM: And since Oh no, you wait, hold on a second. Spesof Beegstick: I get I get a constitution savings right, right? Spesof Beegstick: Did was everybody supposed to make a check to stop bleeding out of their ears? DM: Uh no, just just yeah, just when he shouted. Spesof Beegstick: Or was that just one? DM: Uh you do you still have rage up? DM: Did you when you that turn that you moved? DM: I don’t think anyone hit you. DM: Ah, okay. DM: Uh that yeah. DM: Uh you can move, you cannot act or react. DM: And then you need to make a constitution saving throw at the end of your turn to attempt to resist the stuff. DM: Yeah, that’s probably a good idea. Momen Tomori: Considering how many breath weapons jersey’s been thrown down, yeah. DM: That does not pass. DM: That your turn. DM: Ursus takes his legendary actions and does essential reduction on Jurge. DM: And turns to Ursus and laughs. DM: This is why you cower in the shadows, and I control this Empire, Ursus. DM: You are pitiful. DM: Nothing more than a snake in the dirt. Tittlin: That’s pretty evil things, right? DM: This blind Durgar Mindmaster accidentally uh falls into the fountain and begins to drown. Momen Tomori: That’s why he’s drowning in a puddle. DM: This Duragar Mind Master targets the veteran and casts mind mastery on him. DM: He fails. DM: And thus he targets. DM: TM Opera O with his cannon. DM: Boom, shock a locker. Momen Tomori: Shoulder cans. DM: The uh the veterans are equipped with shoulder cannons. Momen Tomori: Although they don’t have a high enough attack bonus to actually hit, so it’s kind of a can we do anything? DM: They’ve hit a few times already. DM: This mind master comes over here to help out his buddy, except he’s still incapacitated, so he can’t really do anything. DM: Constitution saving throw. DM: Nope, he’s still deafened. DM: Diragar Mind Master. DM: This guy also targets the veteran. DM: Another veteran with mind mastery. DM: And tells this veteran also to attack TM Opera O. DM: So it seems Ursus’s men are targeting your guys to attack TM Opera. DM: Oh, to take out one of the other dragons. DM: That hits for twenty-one damage. DM: TM Opera O. DM: Looks between Ursus and Gerge and shouts, which evil doer are we dispatching of first? Momen Tomori: We got a rears kicked by the purple dragon before. Momen Tomori: I the ideal thing to do would would be to would be to let evil let evil diff destroy itself and as we uh as we regain our our our foot. DM: Opera oh. DM: Oprah O sizes them up. DM: Very well, I shall hold back for the moment. DM: It seems almost as though saying that hurts Opera. DM: They seem to physically hurt damage or be physically hurt from having to hold back. Momen Tomori: Is it is it not an evil’s nature to destroy itself? DM: Ah, a good point. DM: A good point. Spesof Beegstick: But it’s cooler to be the one who vanquishes it. Momen Tomori: We’re gonna want to try and clear some area around us so that as we need to we need to say we need to save out the troops that we have. DM: Very well. DM: I shall go on our rescue mission. DM: And he comes over here. DM: And takes a bite out of that guy. DM: Before flapping his wings. DM: And moving over to assist Ignis. DM: Lieutenant Baggins heads behind this fountain and attempts to break out of this mind shatter, but is unable to this mage, having just been revived, stumbles over and attempts to also break free of uh oh no, he’s actually fine. DM: Oh, never mind. DM: What am I doing with him then? DM: He’s gonna come over here. DM: He’s going to cast an ice storm here. DM: Uh move that a bit. DM: There’s an ally there. DM: Did I get him out? DM: Yes, okay. DM: There. DM: An ice storm, forty foot, to hit both of the enemy dragons. DM: They both fail the deck saving throw and get buffeted about by the cold and bludgeoning. DM: Not particularly. DM: However, George takes the opportunity to beat his wings and fly up higher into the air. Momen Tomori: I’m turned the wrong way. Momen Tomori: How high is it now. DM: He’s eighty feet up. Momen Tomori: How long is my finger? Momen Tomori: Sixty feet. DM: How long is my fingers? DM: Okay, spells. DM: Comes over here, targets that guy, casts magic missile. DM: How many three darts? DM: One three. DM: Four. DM: Taking out this guy. DM: This mage comes over here to assist. DM: Also casts Magic missile. DM: One. DM: One, two, three. DM: Killing that guy. DM: The Majors begin cleaning up the battlefield. DM: This guy stumbles out over here. DM: Targets jer targets Ursus with a Firebolt with a magic missile Dealing. DM: Nine damage. Momen Tomori: I can’t see the health bars for um the stone the stone guards from Ursus. DM: Too bad, I guess. DM: Most of them are this one’s badly injured. DM: I think all the rest are dead. DM: Oh, this guy’s injured. Momen Tomori: All the rest are dead. DM: Dead, dead, dead. DM: That guy’s dead. Momen Tomori: This side. DM: Look at his skull. Momen Tomori: I don’t see a skull. DM: What just just leave it? Momen Tomori: Reloading. Momen Tomori: Oh, the music’s gone now. Momen Tomori: Here and here I thought our our positions were terrible. Momen Tomori: But I just had I I was suffering from the fog of war. Momen Tomori: Your fan is a lot more powerful than mine. Momen Tomori: There we go. Momen Tomori: No, I’m still seeing them. Momen Tomori: Shift reload. DM: It’s fine. Momen Tomori: I don’t I don’t know who is so I know George is near death. Momen Tomori: I don’t know. Momen Tomori: I can’t see Ursus how damaged Ursus is. Momen Tomori: And it looks like we’re still surrounded by Stone Guard, so I’m not so my tactical decision making is impaired. DM: Okay, okay. DM: How about now? DM: Can you see them now? Momen Tomori: Okay, I can see this guy. Momen Tomori: This guy’s dead, that’s clear. Momen Tomori: I can see okay, good. Momen Tomori: I can see Ursus. Momen Tomori: Injured. Momen Tomori: That’s clear. Momen Tomori: So for my bonus action. Momen Tomori: I am going to have Ignis do his multi-attack. Momen Tomori: So that is one bite and two claw attacks against the guy beside him. Momen Tomori: One bite. Momen Tomori: That hits him. DM: On this guy. DM: Yep, that hits. Momen Tomori: Oh hey, that kills him. Momen Tomori: All right, then in that case, I’m going to Ignis. Momen Tomori: Or going to fight to have Ignis fly. Momen Tomori: Fifteen feet there to deliver the two claw attacks. Momen Tomori: Did um Craig just disconnect? Momen Tomori: No, he’s still there. Momen Tomori: All right, so one claw attack. Momen Tomori: Then another claw attack. Momen Tomori: Does that hit? DM: Fourteen fourteen does not hit. DM: And he’s carrying this guy. Momen Tomori: Yep, but he’s going to fly up. Momen Tomori: Would ten feet be out of the guy’s range? Momen Tomori: After no. DM: They do have javelins that they’ve been throwing around. Momen Tomori: So then instead, Ignis is just going to fly away to bring him back. Momen Tomori: Actually, where’s where’s the best place to put I need to move my character? Momen Tomori: Okay, I want to put him somewhere safe-ish. Momen Tomori: It’s hard to find somewhere that isn’t going to be in uh the blast radius. Momen Tomori: Does here seem safe ish? Momen Tomori: I think it is. Momen Tomori: Relatively spread out, so it’s low risk of uh of Georgia attacking, but I think sure I’ll do that. Momen Tomori: And then fly back. Momen Tomori: Oh, the enemy’s difficult terrain but that doesn’t fly back here. Momen Tomori: Eating the opportunity attack. Momen Tomori: Wait, wait, no, is he does he have the javelin equipped right now, or anyway, whatever. Momen Tomori: Well no, javelins are but both. Momen Tomori: It just flies there. Momen Tomori: And then doing so I can what am I doing with my action? DM: I don’t know, you tell me. Momen Tomori: Like at the same time, I want to I can open my character sheet. Momen Tomori: I want to I do want to try and take out Ignis, but at the same time, I don’t want to have Ursus around while he’s uh still still Ursus around with a lot of health. Momen Tomori: Uh okay, yes, you are that okay. DM: And there’s one other thing to keep in mind. DM: Our objective here is to claim uh George’s dead body. DM: We need his blood. DM: And we know that Ursus has several abilities that will disintegrate bodies. DM: Which means that if you let Ursus deal the final blow, there’s a chance there won’t be a body to recover. Momen Tomori: So that’s us ain’t gonna tr give us much blood in in comparison. Momen Tomori: Uh so George is near death. Momen Tomori: I am going to cast Blight on Ursus. Momen Tomori: He started this as long. DM: Cast Blight on Ursus. DM: And he shrugs off the damage. DM: He looks at you and raises an eyebrow. DM: Did you not learn anything last time, Professor? DM: Oh no, I suppose you didn’t. DM: All right, is that your turn? Momen Tomori: Uh no, not quite. Momen Tomori: I am going to stand up. Momen Tomori: If I could click my token. Momen Tomori: Oh, I’m gonna drag, not bloody heck. Momen Tomori: All right, I’m going to stand up. Momen Tomori: Uh, where’s the problem? Momen Tomori: Stand up and move a little bit, so I have some cover. Momen Tomori: Hopefully this isn’t close close enough to the in-between that I get lightning. DM: Ursus surveys the battlefield and thinks about what to do. DM: Hmm. DM: The first thing that he’s going to do. DM: Let me take a look here. DM: He’s mostly worried about how much how many teammates you guys have left. DM: He is going to blink. Momen Tomori: Oh no. DM: You watch as Ursus disappears. DM: No, let’s do it here. DM: And then he’s going to use his breath weapon. Momen Tomori: Oh, I tried to get him out of it, but it’s dang near impossible to get everyone clear of the cones. DM: Saving through. Momen Tomori: It would be hilarious if George just fell on on uh on Ursus and crushed him. DM: That would be nice. Momen Tomori: Just get rid of this little bug that’s been irritating him for so long. DM: Does that and then he flies? DM: Up. DM: How much fly speed does he have? DM: Up into the air. DM: Hmm, eighty feet. DM: Whoop. DM: This veteran walks around and then asks, am I targeting George or Ursus? Momen Tomori: Ursa Ursus, I think. Momen Tomori: At this because at this point, Ursus is the more agile threat. Momen Tomori: But it’s honestly like Ursus is barely injured. Momen Tomori: George is heavily injured. Momen Tomori: We might I think we can take George down. Momen Tomori: If George is near death, I think we can take him down in two two solid hits. Momen Tomori: Maybe, but that’s assuming we get two solid hits. Momen Tomori: But Ursus is going to be hard to pin down. DM: Heads over to target Ursus. DM: Shoots with his cannon. DM: Hits for twenty-three damage. DM: Ursus snarls. Tittlin: Yeah, you would do that, huh? DM: Targets the Dirgar Mind Master, the tiny mind masters. Momen Tomori: Oh, I’ve been forgetting to recharge a the breath weapon. Momen Tomori: How many turns has it been since Dignus used this breath weapon? DM: A few. DM: I’ve been rolling. Momen Tomori: Oh, you’ve been rolling? DM: This guy attacks the mind boy with his long sword. Momen Tomori: Oh, there’s still another mind master there. DM: Hitting twice. DM: There’s two mind masters there. Momen Tomori: There’s still more mind masters. DM: This guy comes over here, targets Ursus with his cannon, but misses. DM: Attacks the Durgar Stone Guard guard but misses. DM: Stone Guard. DM: This guy is the last. DM: We got like two guys left here. DM: This is George’s guy. DM: He’s going to go fight Opera. DM: Believe it or not. DM: He’s gonna come forward and use his knife. DM: Hits for fourteen damage. DM: Youch! Momen Tomori: With a tiny knife. DM: Targets the mind master. DM: Ah, well, it’s a total free for all at this point, let me tell you. Momen Tomori: Whatever, like with with how mobile all the dragons are. Momen Tomori: Any there’s no hope at a line of battle. Momen Tomori: There was before, um forgotten the name already. Momen Tomori: Before the purple one showed up. DM: Ursus. Momen Tomori: But now that they’re here, it’s all just a mess. DM: Remains affected by Jerge’s. DM: Remains affected by George’s disorientation. DM: Oh boy. DM: Guess what just came up again? DM: Jerge comes forward and uses his breath weapon again. DM: Everyone in that. DM: Give me a dex. DM: No, a constitution saving throw. DM: Well, you’re still under its effect anyway. DM: Deafening breath. DM: You are deafened, incapacitated. DM: None. DM: It doesn’t deal any damage to your hit points. DM: It just leaves you completely unable to act. DM: And with that, it is ten after ten. DM: I think we end the session here now that we’re at the styre to the turn order. DM: Yeah, you guys are fine. DM: Look, George is almost dead. DM: So is everyone else. DM: In fact, is there anyone here who isn’t injured? Momen Tomori: Like the DM: The only people who are unharmed. Momen Tomori: Everyone aside the dragons have spent more time rampaging amongst the little people than they have been fighting each other. DM: Well, there are a lot more little people that dragons. DM: I mean, opera dove at George breath weaponed him, and then George threw him onto you. DM: Like they’re not they’re certainly not ignoring each other, but there are other enemies. DM: Everyone’s hitting hard this fight. DM: And it has been all over the place. DM: Like. Momen Tomori: I know, it’s just the what the way I anticipated this going down was essentially the Oprah bait baiting the hits so that so that so that we could uh take him out with without losing most of our troops. Momen Tomori: And that is not working out. DM: Tootaloo, everybody. Spesof Beegstick: Oh, I got a stop.
