Back at the Fief, we discuss what we need to do to improve Atlanta. Apparently implementing an Orphan Fighting Ring isnt a popular idea amongst the peers. This does direct me to want to create an underground cock fighting ring instead, meanwhile Spesof wants to add a dining hall for the kids. Momen wants some sort of wizards dungeon or something so I guess we are adding that too.
I head to Knight Faire to visit Rian Wyrmwood and he seems rough. He tells me that with the events of the festival coming up there has been no advancements on getting back Katya Wyrmwood. I offer my services to him in any way to help ease his mind and he suggests sending me on an espionage mission shortly after the celebrations. I leave it at this and he says he will send instructions when necessary.
We head back to the CCMB and wait for The Feast of Lady Melisenda start. While waiting I decide to get Grustlin to cut my gems. This should net me roughly 1600 platinum which is nice. In the morning we wake up to a disguised Plock because he doesnt feel like being a Bugbear for the festivities.
We make our way over to the festival where Spesof nudges me towards a card table. I go and sit down and theyre playing Bridge which is the dumbest game on the planet, its played with a really large set of cards that I cant do any tomfoolery with. I do manage to come in second though winning myself a small prize. Meanwhile Spesof buys some cheese and Momen talks to a dwarf. Shortly afterwars the Reave gives a speech. He lets us know all of the festivities that will be taking place for the week. Spesof wants us to sign up for the Radish Race. His strength and my Slight of hand should be immaculate. Spesof signs us up for that Promptly. Spesof also signs up for practically every eating competition possible minus the shaved ice competition. After doing so the Reeve comes up to talk to us. He is also taking part in some of the competitions. He also recommends we dont get our hands dirty with any of the other competitors, if anyone were to ask us for assistance it is recommended we say no.
Spesof and I roam around in order to find some Radishes to pluck in practice for the festivities. With that we get our permission and we get our practice in, doing about a row of radishes in roughly 15 minutes. The doping guy was able to do it in 10 minutes and was a landslide so we are hoping that this is more than ample amount of time to win.
