We debrief and deal with both Wrinkle and the dead Dracolich before heading to bed. Back at the CCMB Spesof reads the newspaper to find out that Tug and Stuff had actually made it into the news along with 3 people dying at one of the competitions.
I get woken up by Spesof asking me to come downstairs and claim some potions but I dont feel like I actually need them, I am also informed that we plan on actually going and killing some sort of fire dragon that might be involved in the Hot Spring disappearances pointed out in the news paper. This dragon appears to be set in Griffin Abbey which isnt exactly in cedarcombe but Merric assures me that it is important to the tourism of Cedar Combe.
Momen goes off and studies the dracolich and figures out how to reanimate a young dragon from it. We spend the rest of the day just twiddling our thumbs and resting and sleep on it one more night to allow spesof to clear his exhaustiona and head out in the morning. After 7 long hours we have finally made it into Griffin Abbey and to the Hot Springs. The hot springs are kinda weird, these guys feel like theyve been well versed on what to and what not to say to the guests to make sure they arent freaked out about the recent disappearances. We are handed our keys and we head to our rooms. After investigating and finding nothing, I head on over to some other guests standing out in the hallway and ask them pretty directly about the Kappa (dragon). They pull out what appears to be a Kappa Claw and hand it to me. I pass it along to momen in hopes that he can use it to identify the location of the Kappa but has no luck.
I accidentally head into the womens changeroom and rudely get slapped out of it. That old lady for some reason had a thumb ring on that left quite a bit of damage on my face. I then head through the Mens side and sneak my way over to the hot springs without taking off any of my stuff. Momen and spesof also come on in but without any of their stuff on. I wander around and accidentally walk into a Young Flame Dragon and get surprised taking a significant amount of damage. I then Run away and call out to everyone where we go and grab our equipment. I complain to management that this had happened and they compensated me my 5 gold for the stay. We head back in and discover a dead body further in the hot springs and momen tries to speak with the dead person. We wait around and try to bait out the dragon while momen does the telepathic chat thing for us with nothing showing up. We find Viscount Barbosa in the spring with a maid and we have a hard time convincing him that its dangerous to be in here at the moment.
We split up again to try and find the dragon and spesof does in fact run into it. We trade a few hits with it and it seems barely injured by our attempts. Spesof does jump on top of it and it does throw some fire breath onto us which hurts quite a bit. Spesof being on its back goes for a little swim with the dragon to a different pool. Upon resurfacing I am able to shoot at it and it flies immediately up into the air where spesof appears to hit it and The dragon flies over the cliff. I walk over the ledge to find Spesof at the bottom at 1 HP and a Dead Dragon. We Did It!
