This Midnight Tears poison is something else and we definitely need to figure out who caused it. I feel fairly suspicious of Dyver Tinkerton and find time to leave and investigate his home, where I find nothing suspicious.
Spesof and Momen scour the route that the jerky took to get to the competition and also found nothing suspicious
Finding nothing we decide to get the reave to grant us permission to check out the cedar combe cafe whom made the Jerky. We head on over there immediately. I try to sneak in and be quiet but Spesof decides that it is reasonable to announce our entrance. Riela Devix comes down the stairs and feels hesitant to let us in and look around but the guard reassures it. We look around and find a spice container for chives that clearly doesnt have chives in it. We confront her about this and she doesnt seem surprised that it isnt in fact chives. In impatience, spesof takes the powder a little taste of the mystery contents of the chives and Spesof immediately recognizes that it is the same flavor. A banter bursts out between me and Riela which resolves nothing. I end up using the eyes of charming on Riela and pull her over to the other room and she ends up confessing about buying the poison from the thieves guild and using it to make them look bad so they wouldnt do the competition every year anymore. I talk it over with the group and we decide to go back to the people in the town square and explain the scenario. They take the married couple into custody and that ends that. That ends our day and the Festival
We wake up and recieve a Message from “G” that the cottages have been finished. We travel to Atlanta to find Ghurde Gorepunch whom willingly cures my Skinrot and lets us know that she has something for us to do but for a later time. We enter into one of the cottages to find Clobdocs downstairs and Warlord Griobiog Upstairs. Sunny G then gives us a tour of the new Atlanta. Merric then gives us a rundown of Atlanta and we have a discussion about the whats and how much’s of what we do with it next.
